Reflection 02

Today lesson was about exploring google search engine and how to use the keywords to find relevance research. Only today than I realize google has lot more feature than I thought I know. It's not just about clicking and typing the words or phrases, there are actually search strategies are to help to narrow and expand your search to find the informations you need.

But I guess the 1st thing you need is to know what your topics about and thus know what you are looking for. From there then we can apply what we had learn today to filter out those tons of irrelevant websites and informations to get the most effective and precise informations we need.

Of course, most importantly we have to cite all the research we have done and the informations we got from various search engines and database searches. It is important because we need to acknowledge the source of informations we got from so that we would not constitute to plagiarism.

After going through the class, I begin to have a better understanding on researching informations that I need for my work. In order to have a good and thorough research, it is not a few minutes job, but we need to spend more time for detail and in-depth research.
